Highly skilled and trained technicians
Central to our commitment to excellence is a continuing focus on new technologies in the marine industry. Our marine mechanics routinely attend seminars and training to update their skills and knowledgebase. They have attended courses at Grand Banks University, Hinckley Yachts, Hamilton Jet, Navtec, Simrad, Marine Travelift, the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA), the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) and the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC).

Our marine mechanics have received full certification in the service and maintenance of Hamilton Jet propulsion and control systems.

Education, training and certification of our crew is the reason both Grand Banks and Hinckley Yachts selected Seaview Boatyard to be their authorized commissioning and warranty centers on the West Coast.

Insurance work
Much of the work that we do at Seaview is insurance related. Over the years, the marine insurance companies have come to know and trust the quality of work we perform. This trust was earned by continually delivering professional, high-quality work completed on time and within estimated budgets.

In-house Services

Seaview hauls out thousands of boats each year and we’ve been doing it for over 40 years. We offer two-way haulouts for boats being blocked out in the yard as well as one-way haul outs for surveys or quick below the waterline maintenance.

We are experienced at loading out vessels onto trucks for shipment to the owner’s chosen destination including shrink-wrapping and vessel decommissioning. If your boat is going over mountain routes in winter we can winterize its systems to insure their operability upon arrival. Likewise we can offload your vessel from a truck and commission it prior to launching.

General Maintenance
Routine maintenance is key to the longevity of your vessel. Seaview can provide the skills and materials necessary to keep your boat in top working condition, from haulout and bottom paint, to detailing and waxing, to inspections and preventative maintenance. Proper boat maintenance extends the life of your boat, reduces the need for costly repairs, and helps to ensure the safety of all those aboard.

Featuring Interlux bottom paints.
